We fully support your Data Privacy Rights under the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and embrace the changes required to ensure that your experience with Grays of Cambridge (International) Ltd is fully aligned to your expectations and wishes.

We collect personal data for two reasons;

  • For processing orders and managing contracts (legitimate business reasons)
  • Personalise your experience with us (with your consent)

For processing orders we collect your;

  • Name
  • Delivery address
  • Billing address (we will not ask you for your payment details)
  • Email
  • Telephone number
  • Line details of the order,

For business orders we also store your;

  • Organisation

We may also collect with your specific consent;

  • The sports you are interested in and some interests related to this, such as favourite club

For data collected to process an order we will only use this data for that order.

If you have created a club account and you have given us consent to send you marketing emails we will use the sports and interests you have entered to send you tailored emails limited to the things that you are interested in.

You are able to process an order and give us this data as a guest, in which case once the order is completed we will not store your personal data for future use.

We share your delivery address data with transport couriers, if required.

We share your billing address with payment providers, who will ask for payment. We will not ask for credit card details, and so obviously cannot store them.

If you come to our web site via a third party organisation, such as a sport governing body, then we will share with them your purchases. However, you should have already agreed to do this in your Data Privacy agreement with them.

If you wish you can create a personal club account so that you do not have to re-enter these details the next time you visit us.

If you wish you can also create or modify your club account to inform us of your interests in our sports / products.

You have the option of highlighting your interests in;

  • one or more sports (cricket, rugby, netball, hockey)
  • the gender / age of products (male, female, child)
  • clubs you support
  • nations you support

You can also add your DOB and we will send you a birthday surprise.

You need to give us consent to use this data to send you marketing emails.

You can change your sports and interests and / or remove this consent at any time.

You can access your personal data that we store for future use in your club account and you can make adjustments / corrections. If you do not own a club account we will not hold personal data for future use.

In both cases we will be holding transactional data for orders that you have placed with us or pre-sales transactions, such as Quotes.

You can send requests to us for visibility of this transactional data.

You can send requests to us to delete your data from our records or to stop using the data for any purposes at all.

You can ask for a copy of your records or ask for a digital file with data from your records. The digital file will be in CSV format. Any paper records will be supplied as paper copies or pdf scans.

We collect data when you browse our web sites so that we can analyse how our site is used in order to improve our website performance and your enjoyment in using our site.

We may collect some personal data, but this data is quickly consolidated and your personal data is removed, as we are only interested in looking at summary trends.

We realise many children visit our websites and we do encourage children to participate in sport.

Children should always ask a parent for permission before sending personal information to anyone online, and we advise under 18 year olds not to submit personal address or telephone information.

However, as we are unable to verify the age of a people using our site, it is ultimately the responsibility of parents or legal guardians to supervise children when online.

The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) are the governing body related to the implementation of GDPR.

They issue guidance on how to raise an issue with anyone who is storing or processing your personal data.

They recommend that you contact us and try and resolve the issue with us directly. We will make every effort to resolve any issues to your satisfaction, however there are certain legal obligations we also must comply with.

For business customers we may hold additional information regarding the organisation that you are associated with.

The organisation may also have additional delivery addresses stored on our website.

There is also likely to be a full contract under which we perform business activities.

We would also recommend that individuals working on behalf of a business customer store their details under a business email account and that for personal use they use a personal email account. This helps to give clear separation between personal details and business related details.

Where individuals have a formal contract in place with the organisation there will be further details stored concerning this contract.
